WHAT IS A CARDED SPINNING PROCESS?

The process of carding consist in arranging  short fibers,  all mixed in different lengths and fineness, giving them a  parallelism , in order that the fibers may be  transformed  into yarn. There are two main types of process in the spinning of spun yarn , the system of conventional carding (which takes more time and  has 3 phases:  breaker card, intermediate card, and finally flyer bobbin, and may have an added process of combing in order to achieve a finer and cleaner yarn) and another one called open-end or rotor system which we are not going to mention in this blog.

The carding process is the most important part of the spinning because is in this process where you obtain the quality of the yarn. Hilaturas Jesus Rubio for the carding process has specialized machinery:  woolen card assortments Masias and Gardeñas, both are automatic carding machines.
